World renowned psychic Maria Papapetros has brought the field of parapsychology to the mainstream. Serving as a psychic consultant for the movies “Ghost” and “The Butcher’s Wife,” she has been an advisor on numerous other films and TV productions.
Maria also has appeared on “Late Night with David Letterman,” and been featured in the Los Angeles Times, the New York Post, Vogue, Glamour, Cosmopolitan, Redbook, Elle and Mirabella.

Maria travels frequently around the world to provide counseling and conduct seminars on psychic development and self-empowerment. Her clients include famous actors,

business executives and law enforcement officials in the United States, Greece, Turkey, Israel, England, Canada and other countries. She also has written two self-awareness books and produced a series of meditation CDs.

Maria is committed to the goal of demystifying metaphysics, believing that everyone has psychic abilities. She expedites personal growth for her clients by helping them develop an awareness of and a belief in their own ability to create a fulfilling reality.

Born on the isle of Crete in Greece, land of the prophetic Oracles, Maria hails from a family of psychics. Her father was a psychic healer and two aunts were leading psychics.

But Maria didn’t discover her own abilities until she was 26 years old and living in Los Angeles. Participating in a reading by another psychic, she learned of her own remarkable abilities and began fine-tuning them through intensive training.

Throughout her outstanding career, Maria has become one of the world’s leading psychics. In 1980, she participated in a landmark study at UCLA’s Department of Psychology. Conducted by Dr. Jan Berlin, it was one of the first controlled investigations of parapsychology.

In 1978 she advised law-enforcement officials on the Jim Jones mass-suicide, and in 1978-1979 she was brought in as a psychic consultant on the “Hillside Strangler” murders in Los Angeles. Over the years, Papapetros has developed an excellent reputation in Hollywood, counseling actors and producers on everything from their personal lives to casting decisions.

Maria now lives in Sugar Land, Texas, and has offices in Houston, New York and Athens, Greece.
